Fort Wayne 29 August 2009
I recently took an 11-day driving trip out the Midwest.
One of the stops was in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with my Chinese goddaughter, Jiang
Yan (Janie), her friend Ernest Stalnaker, and her brother, Yuan. The weather
that day, the 29th of August 2009, was beautiful. We first visited the Botanical
Conservatory, one of the city's major attractions, and then walked along the
river. I have divided the photos into three sections, a short introductory one
for the downtown area, then the Botanical Conservatory, and finally the River
Walk.
As always, the photos are best viewed by setting your monitor
to full screen and sitting close. That will reproduce the original angle of
view, and make the pictures look as realistic as possible. Enjoy!
